About CyberSoft
Dr. Peter V. Radatti
Founded 1988, CyberSoft took the industry by storm with the VFind product. Not only was it the first antivirus scanner for Unix, it was the first heterogeneous ( multi-platform) virus scanner, as well as the first scanner to incorporate a full virus description language, CVDL.
Prior to starting CyberSoft, President & CEO Peter Radatti spend over 15 years working in the aerospace and military industries for companies like Control Data Corporation at the Naval Air Development Center, General Electric at the Valley Forge Space Center, and SRA in Moorestown New Jersey. He got the idea for VFind™ - which, at that time was an antivirus scanner for Sun Microsystems Unix computers and with sudden interest from GE, Dr. Radatti decided to demonstrate the program at the Unix Expo International. His trust paid off, by acquiring a large client base including General Electric and Bell Atlantic.
He was asked to write something for this web site. Being complicated you can sum up his philosophy with the following.
- "Make it work" is my motto.
- Never stop learning.
- Solve people's problems, and they'll remember you.
- Do the right thing. The first time.
- "Stick to the KISS principal"
